Fishing Eagle lake docks has got me thinking I know the chicken wire is legal if folks want to stop people from fishing under there docks but at Bee lake there are a hand full of docks that are roped off and you cant get your boat nowhere around them is that legal ?
Pobably not but who's gonna enforce it, in the same token who gonna stop you from taking em down and fishing???? Wonder if there is some kinda of Lake Association over there with some kinda rules?

It would depend on the lease I guess. Where the deed says their property line is. If the have a rope set out 10 or so feet all the way around their docks, then I bet they can't do that
I always heard you cant post water not sure I mean its not a big deal you can still pitch a cork and fish them was just wondering if it was legal

Just got off the phone with GW and he said you could fish in the boat slips as long as you were not tied up and you didn't get out of boat onto docks. I wouldn't make a big deal about it except the guy was such a jerk about it. They gonna pay him a visit soon. This is the man who beat up the black guy last year for fishing off the bank by the old dock. Made the news and nothing ever got done about it.Quote:

Thanks for checking. Yeh, it's the same dude that I had heard about then. He's the developer for the Condos out at the Rez. If I remember right, he was drunk as all get out when he beat thaty guy up.

well im telling you bee lake is the worst snake lake ive ever seen there are a lot and i mean a lot of water snakes but i have seen a bunch of them that were cottonmouths seem like one day there was a snake at every cypress one year so wade if you want to i will be on my boat with a sawed of 4/10
On Martin you can legally get out on someone's dock everything past the full pool mark is managed by the apco. Most people don't outa respect for homeowners.
We used to wade Beaver dams as kids, fishing. Be chest deep out in the middle of the swamps catching fish. only really had one cotton mouth try me. He kept coming even after I smacked him with my flyrod 3 or 4 times. I finally walked over and got a 6 foot long beaver stick and let him come on the next time. Beaver stick took care of him in short order LOL

The last 2 years hasn't been good at bee my whole family wades and have places there. I'll sure let y'all know when and if they turn on. All I've caught this year are sharp shooters not even a descent fish. On the brite side the store is open and Brian the new owner put in a new ramp and he has minnows also. Man I used to fish Bee alot until the ramp got in such bad shape, glad to hear they got a new one and I am gonna have to try it. I tell ya one thing Bee used to have some slabs in it just as big as Nader or any other lake around. Caught several just under 3 pds outta there. Love that lake in Feb and March

Only time I've heard of it is at Lake Springfield in IL. There, the land owner actually owns 100' into the water along their lot line. Have actually been told by more than one to move along! They all have bunches of structure around them and don't want anyone else fishing them! Just don't seem right that someone can on part of the lake as well as their land!!!

Lol I know a man here in town that used to fish Wolff all the time. He was fishing some structure at the end of someones pier and was draggin em out left and right, heard the door to the cabin open up and and old man walked out with a shotgun and sit down in his porch rocker and started loading up the pump gun. I ask my buddy what did u do he said I crunk up and got the hello outta there!!!!
