I would rather have a 12 gauge than an "assault weapon" any day if I was wanting to do some damage.

With a 12ga open bore you dont have to be a good shot just point it and blast off.

I disagree. #4 turkey loads are a better choice. More pellets for a mo ing ducking and dodging target at close range and will knock em down at 20 yards plus it will penetrate a single wall in any home but not carry through the house.

But that's just me.
