Just finished up this shoe mount for HDS DI/SI and 2d. Took the SI/DI off the TM. Almost borke the xducer cable when the motor rapped the cables last month.
I am using Rickies transducer stick. It is gonna will work fine. Maybe Rickie will post a nakid picture of his transducer stick so all can see what is involved..

Rickie made me a top plate to cap everything off. It is grooved for the cables to come out the side. Almost ready for mounting on boat.

Wrapping it up...I cut the transducer mounting plate that Rickie sent with the transducer stick. I wasn't comfortable with just a set screw in front to hold the shoe in place, so I scabbed the foot to the stick with the plate cut to size. I cut this with my Dremel and some diamond disks. Thing got hot so it took a while. Brings out the blacksmithin' in me blood. bout to wrap it up. Callshy is working on my quick disconnect mounting plate.

Dose that fit on the side or back of your boat? I use my boat for more then just fishing could you put it on the side and take off when not fishing out?
I will be using it off the front of my boat. I am having a slide plate disconnect made. I will be able to remove the stuff when I want. You will have to speak to Rickie about it.
I am modifying his rig to suite my needs. I can rotate the foot if needed, so I guess you can say it will mount bout where you want it to mount.
The da 'ducer apparatus ™ will mount anywhere on the boat as long as it has a flat horizontal surface area close enough to the edge to "reach" over the gunnel when deployed...Quote:

I like this but not to sure it fit on my boat. When I get a new trolling motor i well get back with you. Im not sure my TM, rod holder and the ducer holder will have enough room on my boat front. :biggrin i do like the idea of what you have.
