FYI....55 south around Southaven is getting icy in spots and Hernando has been getting precipitation since this morning.
Just started that freezing rain out here. Starts and stops for about 20 min. Sticking to the trees and stuff. Gonna be rough tonight.
Been doing it for a while here in Hernando Cray.
got a couple of red tips weighted down with ice on the boat and on the powerline to the house--hope they hold.
Instead of hoping, get out there and lay them red tips flat. Gewber.
Thanks for the road reports.
I thought about getting out earlier, good thing I was just thinking.
I-55 looks to be moving smoothly. There is a bit of a haze to look through, ice forming on the trees. Ice hanging off the truck 8 inches long.
ppffffffffttttttttttt get the wifes car outta the garage and back that boat in there...
if you have a truck, chain them up and rip em out!
no garage--just a regular boat cover--it really does suck
Ok. Maybe I don't understand what a red tip is?
hahaha--I didn't either--the wife had to tell me what they were--it's basically an overgrown bush--about 20ft tall
Me too. Sounded like the gewber was gonna stand at the window and watch the ice break his rods.
hahahaha--it is cold outside:) Rods are safe and secure:ThumbsUp
Ahhhhhhh we call em RED TOPS down here in GODs country....dang things are pretty but ya gotta trim once or twice a year or they will get away from ya. Plant em about 4 foot apart and in 3 years time you will have one helluva privacy fence.
bingo
you gewbers may be talkin about a crape myrtle.
:dono just asked the wife--she said NO.
heck they are all the same to me--just something extra I have to mess with :)
