New for 2013 Moderated SC Fishing Reports Forum

OK guy we asked for it and now have the new "Moderated SC Fishing Reports Forum". We want to make these fishing reports as detailed as we can without giving your "fishing hole or spot " away. Try to include lake, water temp, water color, depth of water fished, depth you were catching at and size & color of bait. This forum is for us to help our members catch fish. So if you plan to use this forum to see what lakes are hot to fish then please also give your fishing reports. Keep your replies to the report about the thread you post to.

This Forum is a test Forum, if it works we keep it and if it doesn't work it will be removed by Slab.
Make your report in the new forum, your thread will then be reviewed asap. It then will be approve for the new Forum or place it in the regular SC forum.

At the top of the SC page. There is no threads in it yet.

So is this for people that are registered only to see.

Can be read on the New SC Report Forum.

Keith, there is a place to post the reports on the new forum. Click on the new forum and click "post new thread". Copy your thread and post it there. No one will see it until it is moderated and then it be be seen only by members. I'll delete your post here after you move it. Call me if you need to :)

Yes, only signed in members can see these reports and only members that have been on crappie.com for 25 days with 25 post.

Nice catch and report Keith. Congrats to both you guys. Looks like a BUNCH are fishing on such a warm and pretty day today as I met lots and lots of boats before daylight and @ lunch today.

Ronnie, I'm missing something here about this new forum. I'm gonna attach a picture of what I see when I get on the SC page and you tell me what I'm supposed to click on to get to this new forum...

Butch you are missing something. There is a sub forum at the top of the SC page. The only time it isn't there is when you are not signed in. Not sure of the reason you can't see it. There is one post in the new forum right now from bowler man. I would move Keith's post there but not sure if I can and don't want to delete it by mistake. You should see this on the SC forum.

Nope...I'm not seeing any sub forums and i have my doubts that everyone else is seeing it too. I'm gonna log off the site, shut down, re-boot and see if it shows up. If that dont work I'll send Slab a PM.

Butch, can you see the one on the Mississippi forum. It's in the Off Topic forum.

Yes, I can see that one. But I cannot see any sub forums on the SC page. I PMed Ed as I believe there are ALOT of members that cannot see the new sub forum yet. Might just be me...dunno.

YES SIR! That's what I'm talking about! Have to try and get one in the nc forum. All you have to do is put (Jordan lake) in NC forum topic bam 1k hits and only 5 comments.

Send Slab a PM and let him know you can't see the forum. This is all new and he needs to know if there is a problem.

It should be popping up for you very soon as youve just passed the 25 days and 25 posts minimum. If you cant see it by tomorrow them PM Slab (site owner) and he'll get you going.:)

Before the rains came in crappie were being caught better in evenings on brush and around bridges throwing jigs.

Just wanted to say thanks to all the members that have posted on the New Forum. All of the threads have great fishing reports and have a lot of details. With these reports the fishing should be easier for the members to pin-point the water depths they need to fish. Thanks to all for keeping your post in the threads related to the reports, I haven't had to remove any post or fishing report threads. Let keep the New Forum going smooth as the fishing picks up over the next couple of months.

Everyone need to remember that the threads you make in the new forum can not be seen by you or any other member until it is approved. Sometimes it may take a little while before it can be reviewed and approved but know that we try to review the new threads as fast as we can. You only need to make one thread, there is nothing wrong with your threads it is just the rules of the new forum to keep only detailed fishing reports there. Any thread that isn't a detailed fishing report are being moved to the regular South Carolina forum where they can still be read by everyone.

Trey, as it's a holiday weekend I'd say give it a couple days and if things dont change then PM Slab and see what's going on. Maybe it's an automated thing switching on new members, but maybe not.

_trey_ I have looked and I don't find anything that should keep you from seeing the new forum. If you can't see the forum when signed in send Slab a PM and let him know you can't see it. This is a new forum and has only been setup a short time so he needs to know of any problems or let me know and I will contact Slab.

Great to have this forum for SC. Iam just starting to try Greenwood lake and don't have anything to add right now.
