Found a good limit on Conway today

Had to really fish hard today to find a good bite, but managed to find a good limit in about a twenty five yard stretch of stumps. Went to some of my old spots and nothing. I noticed a lot of gulls diving at bait fish so I ran over there the crappie were schooled of in a roll of stumps on an old pond near the south end of the lake. I caught them on white and chartruse mid south tube and a 1/16 oz head single poling.http://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/01/08/e8aze9ub.jpg

Like someone said "big bellys" i agree. Was it baitfish or eggs ? Nice fishin !

They were full of shad about 1 1/2 to 2 inches long.

Were they pretty good fish, I couldn't find the picture of them, did you see a lot of shad dead on top of the water.

Yes there were several dead shad around where I was catching the fish.
