Jimb this one is for you

Had another great day of fishing in Florida. The weather was a little cool in the morning but it warmed up to 66 by noon. I caught my first 2 pound fish of the new year and we did around 35 for the day. The big fish came on an acid rain jig in 8' FOW. The 15.25" fish weight 2lb and 5oz. Caught several nice ones between 12" and 14". The big femails are very fat and look like they could dump their eggs any day.

This was the big one, you can tell by the smile on my face.

Nice fish, congrats! Good smile too. Nice to see you are settled in down there. You must have finally opened your suitcase. We like the jeans much better than you wearing your wife's sweatpants like earlier in the week.

Hi Mark, I have no idea about citation sizes in Florida. I never turned one in anywhere so I don't pay that much attention.

nice!! i'm hoping the weather will improve here so I can go crappie fishing... been cold and wet in Louisiana....

Super nice fish. I hope you catch one just like that or bigger for the get together there next Sat. Don't give them all a sore mouth before I get there. :)

That's been a popular color on this forum for a while. One of our former members, Crappiesauresrex did very well with it, it was his go to color.
