Well I had my pictures all ready to post and somehow they disappeared from my chip when I downloaded to my camera. :banghead Wife fixed her "Good Luck Jambayala" which is onions, bell peppers and Jalaenos in rice cooked in bloody mary mix together with black eye peas and shrimp steamed on top,plus collards, scratch biscuits and molases and a glass of red wine. Had my plate full too, dagummit, cause last time I posted a picture of my dinner Neon said it looked like a good appetizer cause the bowl wasn't full to the top.:Rofl
Just have to take my word for it. Fishermen never lie or exagerate anyway:rolleyes:
Didn't get a pic of the main course but this was the best anyway. Granddaughter is now 15

Yep, from Arby's. I worked on my daughters house all day. Didn't eat anything so I drove through Arby's on the way home and got a Rueben.Quote:

Roast beef from the dutch oven, black-eyed peas, corn bread and gravy. Didn't think to take a picture.
Wife and I had country style ribs cooked on the smoker she got me for christmas, along with blackeyed peas, and salad. No corn bread. Trying to loose some weight that was put on during the holidays!!!!!LOL

not me....I ate a bushel of black eyed peas yesterday cooked with smoked sausage and served on a bed of rice...........got to be prosperous this year so I can get some high dollar rain gear like neon did. :biggrin Ate some more today too, not takeing any chances, lol
Tonight it was sirloin tips with mushrooms and onions and a side of mashed taters and brown gravy from Texas Roadhouse.

I like the looks of that breading Neon, What is it,or how did you make it? It looks nice and light.
It's Zatarans. I've had better, but then again the box said it was for pan-frying, and I deep fried these. I'll give in another shot in the pan before passing judgment. I know a lot of people like it. I've yet to find anything I like better then Fryin' Magic, but the Louisiana is the next best I'd tried so far.
