I gotta admit, this is the first New Year's Day I can remember in a long while that my head ain't ringing. Heck, for that matter its the first New Year's Day that I ain't wondering what happened the night before. Lol. Ended up setting off a few fireworks in the rain and me, my wife, and kids fell asleep before 10 watching a movie in bed. Guess I'm getting old and ill have to party through DD. speaking of which, has anybody heard from the old ripple drinking grandpa? Happy New Years everybody!!
Good show Carol and I went to bed at 10 too, course she has never drank and I quit 31 years ago plus at our age we can't stay awake till 12 anyway. How get your blackeye peas and green ready for lunch.

Watched a movie with my wife and we were in bed by 11. And I feel great this morning.

Did the Time Square thing and the Beale Street thing from the house out of the rain. It was my girl's birthday so we went and had a great steak. She don't drink so I knocked back a few beers and she drove us home to be on the safe side! Got up this morning and put out her Birthday Gifts and card about 8. Didn't feel too bad. Fixed breakfast and now cooking my peas. Gonna have pork chops, greens,peas,cornbread, mashy taters and gravy!Should be full after that!Hope all yall havin a Happy New Year!
