Yep, that ought to do it!!!!
That should work. Is it deep cycle?
That ought to keep things going for a few years.
Not sure Tommy. Font think it has to be for the cranking battery. My old one was only 650 crank amps so the 1000 is a step up
It says cranking on the front. DUH. Lol

Accordin to Interstate battery site it is NOT classed as a Deep Cycle only as HD cranking.:popcorn:Doh:
The next crank battery I get will be deep cycle. Running so much electronic is hard on a regularccrank battery.
That battery will do fine for a boat cranking battery. You would only need deep cycle for a slow discharge like a trolling motor.
It's all I need, cranking boat and a FF
Major, my local battery guru suggested I move my electronics connections over to trollers because of the load they were drawing over the course of a day. I did and have not had any problems at all. He said most crankers are not designed to be pulled way down by the electronics and then start the engine at the end of the day. Worth trying, won't cost anything.....

I have always been told to connect FFs to the cranking battery and not the TM batteries.....they claim you will get interferance if you use the TM batteries, but I really do not know....never tried it. The Dual purpose deep cycle cranking battery makes since to me though.
Same I heard about interferance n the TM batteries
If you buy an HD Cranker with 850 CCA's or more, you'll be fine running your electronics and cranking the engine.. A cranking battery that is also a deep cycle is called a dual purpose or multi purpose battery. The DP's don't have as many CCA's for cranking, running electronics, live wells, etc., but will be more friendly to charging and discharging. They are DECENT at both, but not great at either.

BTW, DD's battery is an XHD Cranker, and should work great.

Yep, I have always heard the same thing about causing interference on FF's but I didn't get any. Guess I was lucky but I'm glad I transferred the drain on to a battery designed for that type of usage.
I would have gotten something bigger than a 24 series.
