I was wondering if there were any folks that are interested in making and dropping crappie shelters in the harbor. Any interest?

I be willing to help. Have a drill and a box of screws.
I can get all the wood slats. Need buckets or crates to attach em too. Cordless drill and wood screws is what i been using. Old bricks or rocks or concrete to sink. I can get us all the cane too if thats something that yall might want to do. I use zip ties to attach cane with. I am real low budget on stuff. Open to suggestions.

I can donate about 25 buckets if someone can come to Lake Nimrod and pick them up.
Harold/abh.....if it can wait till the 12th I can pick them up on the way back from Booneville....I have some 4 inch by 4 nick by 30 inch pieces of concrete .......and a few rr tie plates
Ok basscat be great if u could pick up from harold. harold thanks for the buckets and no hurry on stuff just checking interest and allow time for people to gather stuff. If we have to maybe we can go in on concrete to fill buckets if needed. I got access to good cane thickets and if a couple guys could help cut and trailer stuff we could have everything ready for a build and drop day. Also if anyone wants to assemble there own project bring it and drop with with rest of the stuff we put together.

I wouldn't mind spending a day or 2 helping where I can. Be it cutting, building or hauling. Set some dates. Send me a pm with addresses.
J.W., I'm retired with lots of time on my hands and always enjoy getting in on a cover build. I can do this about any time and have probably more 5 gallon buckets than we can use. I'll bring however many you want me to bring. Also, I go to Lowe's and Home Depot periodically and they sell their busted 80 pound sacks of Quickcrete for a $1.00 or $1.25 but I don't have any right now, but will try to get some between now and then. Count me in on the build. Just let me know when you want to do it.
I would like to help out on that. I'm off on some weekdays just let me know.
Maybe keep a running tally on what people can bring. Copy and paste this .
1. Abh- 32 milk crates with wood slats
2. Bamboo all we can cut but need a few hands and trailers to put on

Yep fetmo and 2 inch screws work good
I want to, if my schedule allows me to. I am good at lifting things, and doing what I'm told to do.
you need to be sure u check the area were you are going to sink them, there's hunderds in there now that i could show you . if you place them in very deep water pb sand & gravel will tear them up when they run that sand hog threw them getting sand especially boyd point toward the river !! i have had tops in there for 30 years at least the last few years i have not keep some of them up !!!
