ever really caught a mess in the river
caught em 18 foot deep on minners.
p.s. kept small ones because all others
were floating in livewell
They all float in the live well when taken from deep water. Lol

You need to fish the river more cause they are there. Been hearing good reports around Conway and Morrilton

Didn't have to break the ice to deep 6 a jig down to them did you??? I know rivers don't freeze over but I've been in the upper end of the lakes before and seen solid ice before too and I know we've had some rough weather which proves crappie bite well in cold water if you can get around them.
Found more Saturday just off bottom around 22 feet down.
They hit minnows and jigs didn't seem to matter
