Was thinking about headin up Sunday. But they are calling for 10mph winds out the a NE which will probably be 30 so maybe Monroe with the river as backup.

Tried Monroe yesterday. Was pretty much pinned between railroad crossing and marker 4. Caught 17 kept 8 over 12" and also let go a bass, catfish and a bream. And yea really cold and windy.Quote:

Went again yesterday, took the family had a great day but fishing was slow.
Caught 10 mostly small, keep a few & gave them to a couple fellars at the ramp that I met.
They have a rough day & only caught a couple fish.
Oh well I got a couple bags of fish in the freezer to bring to the slabfest.
