help don't know about map card witch is best for hear or if i need one a all.maybe the one in the unit is ok i don't know.i would think the one with the most detail would be best.:fish
If you are running Humminbirds I would say wait on the new Lake Master card, if it does SOME of the stuff promised it is gonna be good.
Did you get a Lowrance Ennivator? Which one?
got lowrance a hds gen 2- 9 touch also hds gen 2-12 touch
I bet there's someone here who can tell you before too long.
I don't know enough about them to say anything except I know I want one with GPS and Map.
After dropping 6 large on electronics I would go ahead and spend a little more and hire Randy at Kick'n Bass to school me on them.
they have gps and map and some other stuff just got to learn to use them the 9 is in stock the 12 sould be in within the next days i am very excited about this after not having nothing.:fish
Would be worth the time and expence to go up to Ky lake and let kicknbass install and teach you how to use them.
Orville, here's a link to vsome videos I just ran across on the Electronics Board here.

I fill better about this investment y'all ben a big help I remember from my younger days how electrons will produce maybe dad was right after all. thanks for all the support.:fish
I usually get-up pretty early Orville, unless I stay-up too late. I'm fishing with Feelay today, so I had to get myself ready to go when he gets here, looking forward to going with him today. Hope we get into a mess of 'em! I'm surprised I slept as good as I did, I'm always excited when I get to fish the Upper Lake with any of these guys, kinda like a kid on Christmas Eve.
You'll find all kind of stuff to read-up on to help you get started before you hit the water with your new electronics. Yeah, you want to be sure you got good brakes, especially pulling and launching a big boat. Wouldn't want to see the roof of your truck sticking out of the water at the ramp. :yikes
I'm sure these guys will post more information and help as time goes by Orville, great bunch of guys here who are always willing to go out of their way to help someone else.
