Great! Hey Major, now we know who can cook the fish at the next camp. Lol
I'd love to have one of those Handi. Nice rain gear also. The problem is, I haven't been that good.
I was thinking exactly the same thing Scott.
man i want one of those fryers I tried to win one at the crappie masters classic they were selling tickets to win one of course I never win nothing
I have thrown this idea around in my head: why not get a 3 basket 8 1/2 gallon fryer for camps??? I have bought 2 in the last 6 months at a local store in town and think I could possibly get a deal on another. If enough people would donate $20 each it would be easy. I will donate the first $50 and be responsible for taking care of it if enough guys want to chip in. One of the big fryer's would be all we would need and you guys just figure out who is in charge of keeping it and bringing it to camp although BigBlue said he would be happy to be that guy.

I would think y'all would want me to keep it. That way, you could be assured I wouldn't wear it out and all.
Wannabe...

Got $110 pledged so far..... I will keep a list and after the first of the year make a new thread to see if we can make if happen.

Between 20 people that are at every camp. I do not see why you should not be able to reach your goal. I also think it is a great idea.
I'm in for $20.

Camp wont be at Sardis anymore, we hope. I say ifn we gonna do it get the big one.
With the current money pledged I think I have $300 or a little better. Should be able to get the 8 1/2 gallon for $500. Going to talk with Mout Gazaway about getting a better deal. Bill also knows him and he is a big crappie fisherman and the owner of Gazaway lumber where I have bought the 2 others.

I caught mine on a special sale. 400 delivered. But I see where it's up 100 now and shipping. Still 100 off regular price.
I've cooked twice with mine and love it. Since I fresh cut potatoes for fries, you know they are hard. I've dropped some that missed the basket. Went to the bottom. When the oil cooled and drained it. We found the cut fries were still hard. The link I found, shows a guy cooking, opens the drain valve and catches the oil on his hand for a few seconds. I'm not that brave. I caught some in a cup, it was 102 degrees. I've been in hot tubs hotter than that. This time of year, not for long.
Moud bought a boat from me, and he is a very nice and generous person. I've sold 3-4 boats to members of their crappie club up there in Paragould, and I'm sure Moud would give us a good deal on whatever we needed from him. I definitely recommend doing business with a fellow crappie guy!!!!!

Doesn't matter where camp is, Sardis is right in the middle of the Big 4. I'll still keep it there, and WON'T use it. ;-)
