How can anyone do this. At least 26 dead in shooting at Connecticut elementary school | Fox News
I just heard it on the news. It's a terrible tragedy!!! Sending up prayers for the victims family's!!!
Way too many crazy people in the world today.
We have watched it for the last few hours on CNN. I can not imagine what the parents of the young children are going thorugh. Makes me sick to my stomach watching it and trying to figure out what was going on in his head or so bad in his life to bring himself to kill his family and then turn to killing the innocent kids.
This is happening way to much .
I have allways hunted and fished. Allways thought the gov. should stay out of the gun control business, but now I just don't know. My wife and I have a daughter that is a teacher and our grandaughters are 7 and 4. I have lost friends and relatives but, never one of mine. I do know this, that right now God has this young kids in his hand and the one that does this is in a special place in hell. Prays goes out to all that is affected.
Absolutely terrible and unthinkable. Prayers go out to all of those people.
So sad !
A sad day . I'm not sure what the answer is to stop these mass shootings . At this time , it's best to say a prayer for the families .
Here is a copy of an email I received today. I feel it is so true, and may God be with all that are effected.
From Subject: Conneticut School Trajedy
A close Christian friend and one of those who grew up in Central Ks. and is my age sent this to me and his feelings about the tragedy in the east and as a Christian I have to agree with him on everything. Even though you might disagree-even as a fellow Christian- on some parts I want to share this with a few of you...Mac
The horrible shooting in Connecticut - what I see here was an instance where evil (Satan himself) literally took over - God is the Lord of life - Satan is the Lord of death
Where was God when all of this horror occurred ? How could God let something like this happen ? Well, if you take a good look around you at what has happened with this shooting + the many, other school shootings lately, I don't remember ever having to fear anything like this when I was a child growing up in Kansas - WHY ? - maybe it was because back then GOD was part of public school (remember the pledge of allegiance, one nation under God) - remember the school Christmas programs ? - Today we have literally kicked God entirely out of all public schools in America - so, where was God when this tragedy occurred ? He was exactly where society ordered him to be - GONE entirely from any public school - guess who has since moved in to take his place ? - Satan the lord of death - until America repents and changes its stance on removing God from our public schools we can probably expect to have more & more of these types of shootings + massacres - our stupid political correctness and our willingness of appease these People is costing us our children's
lives - that is how I view all of this - of course no liberal would ever be able to see this - instead, they are chasing their tails trying to get more gun control laws passed
I hate to see politics injected into this terrible tragedy . A prayer to the families would be a Christian thing to do .
A prayer to the families would be a Christian thing to do. Amen for sure!
I did not post this with any thought of politics! Sorry if you were offended by the liberal statement. The sad part is that we are not to mention God or pray unless in time of tragedy. If we mention the almighty or want to pray during good times we are labeled........ This country was founded on Christian principles and was full of god fearing men, now maybe not so much.
I can't stop thinking about the horror these children and teachers went through, I pray for them and give their families strength. Just so crazy.
Twas' 11 days before Christmas around 9:38 when 20 beautiful children stormed through Heaven's Gate. Their smiles were contagiousand their laughter filled the air. They could hardly believe all the beauty they saw there. They were filled with such joy, they didn't know what to say. They remembered nothing that happened earlier that day. "Where are we?" asked a little girl, as quiet as a mouse. "Thisis Heaven" declared a small boy. "We're spending Christmas at God's house." When what to there wondering eyes did appear ,but Jesus, their Savior, the children gathered near. He looked at them and smiled, and they smiled just the same. Then He opened His arms and called them by name. And in that moment was joy, that only Heaven can bring, those children all flew into His arms of their King, and as they lingered in the warmth of His embrace one small girl turned and looked at Jesus' face, and as if He could read all the questions she had, He gently whispered to her, "I'll take care of your mom and dad." Then He looked down on earth, the world was far below He saw all the hurt, the sorrow, and woe. Then He closed His eyes and He outstretched his hands, "Let My power and presence re-enter this land!!" "May this Country be delivered from the hands of fools." I'm taking back my Nation! I'm taking back my schools!! Then He and the children stood up without a sound. "Come now my children let me show you around." Excitement filled the space, some skipped some ran, all displaying enthusiasm that only a small child can. And I heard Him proclaim as He walked out of sight, "In the mist of this darkness, I AM STILL THE LIGHT!!!"
Thank you Frosty. I wept for those children when I first heard the news. I shed another tear when I read your poem. Thank you so much!!
Chris my wife sent it to me, don't know who the author is. Thought it needed to be passed along. I'm with you on the tears.
