anybody want to buy a couple from me? I need bigger
How much???? PM sent
Just buy two more, and run 4. That's what I do. 2-65", and 2-56". Learned that watching John Wood at Sardis do it in a 30mph wind.

well-guess I'll keep em and get a couple 5xls --- that should do it
We only had two socks then, and we blew by him and saw the 4 lines with the floats coming off his boat. We were going .6-7 with two 65" socks, and he was going about .3-4 with the 4 socks out.

Just shoot em in the barrel and you dont have to worry about the socks...........:Rofl
I've got 2 77's and if its to rough for them it's to rough for me. I get a little scared for lack of a better word when I see those 2 and 3 foot waves coming across the lake. The one thing about having a flexible schedule though is being able to pick days when u don't have to fight the wind.

i could have used your motor fog with the skeeters saturday .
I do use a longer line for the extra pair socks so they can open without hitting to other two front socks. If the lines are the same length, the socks hit each other and can't open fully.

We uaually put the 2 biggest ones out the back and the smaller ones off each side in the front tied off the cleats. This helps take alot of the bounce out of your poles. We beating this dead horse to smithereens.

I tried putting two up front, but my boat wanted to drift a bit sideways like that. It was harder keeping her straight.

To learn to fish the wind, you gotta go when it's windy. ;-)
