a different spec...

finally got my first speckled trout! i have been trying hard for the past 3 weeks to catch my first speckled trout and today i finally succeeded! :) smallest fish on the boat today was 17inches and we got a big fella that was 24inches! i managed to catch two... one being 20inches and the other 21inches! a very fun day on the water!!!

well i was fishing all types of artificial lures with a cast and retrieve... but we only caught them on minnows with slip bobbers. had several other boats tell me the same thing that minnows was the only thing working?

well the specks were really tasty last night!!!! (oh ya... first time eating fish since "my incident" and so far so good!)

but i will have to say you are right that crappie are better tasting! :)
