is that you had better use your trolling motor from at least the marina to the ramps or you'll be shelling out money for a new prop half the time. It is way shallow there, and often the level is down. From there to the damn it sure would be nice to use your motor though. I sure wish I were able to attend, but I'd be late for work if I tried to...Quote:

I think the fishing guides are out already but I forgot to pick one up and check.
I checked the DNR site--no mention of Cowan as one of the exception lakes on the web site yet.
I havent heard anything yet. All I know is the chief of the watercraft was sounding real positive about it, but they still need people to email them with their opinons.
