The dust will settle for at least a day in the backs of most creeks. Then back to dry and dusty. This ain't enough to do a whole lot.
What we have had so far wont effect anything, soak rite in. Had an inch or a little more here, wind gusts into the lower 30mph range.
gonna have to be a soaker for a day or so followed by a couple inches real quick to do much.
3/4 inch or so here, more coming.
Just did a quick search, looks like .9" so far, more expected overnight. OK, so to stretch things a bit further, how much would it take to matter, and would it effect Lower Sardis. Reason for my asking is just planning ahead.
.61 inches here. Looking like thursday will be a great day to be on Reelfoot :)
Hard to predict the weather. Of I were planning on hitting the lower lake at its prime I would put my money on late January through February. That's just me though. I'm sure others will have a different opinion.
This little bit ain't gonna help or hurt.
Lots of rain and some cold weather will get things right for Wb and BigH to start their snagging routine. And the ones they miss can be caught by us sportsman downstream.
I only travel in the Fall SS, so ya' gotta make hay while the sun's shinin' :ThumbsUp
Right, but I thought the rain may have an effect on that.
Buzzkill :Rofl Seriously, was just remembering out conversation in the parking lot. Just trying to decide when I should head back to Sardis. Even if the bite never gets "on" from this point, it's still easy access with the Kayak. Haven't fished the little lake here yet, but will before the week is out, doubt there's any crappie in it, but I got some bass gear in the trailer.
I thought you had moved down to Grenada.
