Well spill it, we need to hear a detailed report on Grand, I've heard that it is coming back! I was up there last summer around the twin bridges area and found some nice fish. I also heard that the lake record was broken from that area it was a little over 3 lbs. EB

there were 3 of us. one was 85,75 71 .We were fishing on a boat dock old man style.They were biting 20 ft.down in about 25fow.I think the bait was bobby garland minnow.with crappie nibbets.Thats not a fancy story but we have a hellaue a mess of filets to enjoy!Also this was in the south end just out of Disney.

Yes Grand has been coming back really well over the past few years. I fish the twin bridges area quite often and have had some dandies but that main lake has also been putting off some good fish, I don't know how those fish can even move around with all the shad that is there, all they have to do is open their mouths. 3 pounders I don't doubt :highfiveQuote:

Varmit, good job guy. I'm in Sand Springs and retired, so maybe sometime we can go together. Haven't fished Grand at all, but would love to go sometime. I usually go to Keystone cause it's so close.

Sounds like y'all had a great day fishing varmithuner. I love hearing that your catching limits every time you come up here. I had heard that the mid lake bite has slowed down. Are you still fishing the docks on the south end of the lake?
Varmithunter I have always loved dock fishing. When you catch one you can drop back in exactly the same spot until you empty that pocket out then go find the next one. Seems like every time I find a hole from a boat the wind shifts and I lose it. You make me miss my old dock fishing days with those good reports! Thanks.
