enjoyed that, if only that rod could talk
I lost my dad in march of 09 he loved to fish and I have a wealth of memories fishing with him. I also have some of his equipment and fish with it in the spring then put it up.I sure do miss him and wish I would have listened more when he was telling me about some secret honeyhole or what they were hitting different times of the year but I guess thats part of that adolescence thing. Thanks for bringing back some old memories.
Luckily I still have my first fishing pole my dad gave me I wont ever get rid of it either .
Thanks for taking the time to write this.
Nice story Joe. Thanks for sharing it with us. And that rod sure looks good on the wall, I bet it was a blast to fish.

Thanks for sharing such a great story.
Cool indeed hang on to memories made in yesterdays past. I have Dads Kennedy Fiberglass tackle box with all the stuff still in it. I carry his Reel Wrench on my key ring so Dad is always with me.
He is fishing in Heaven now.
Great story. Memories that will last a lifetime.
Thanks for reminding us all of the real stuff that is important in life.
