Do you have any featherless?
Neat, what breed are they?
Looks a lot like your hen house Scott.
Not sure what the black ones are, I forgot. The red ones are Rhode Island Reds. Triton, I ain't seen a featherless one but once and it was deformed looking. Kinda like them hairless cats and dogs look.
good job on the coop
Good looking set-up Slimey.
Looks good. Need some greens for them to eat.
in a few weeks they will be just right for frying!
Cool setup on the coop SLimey.
That's pretty sharp right there man. I can't wait til I get out in the country so I can get back into raising pigeons
When I was a teen, I raised Pigeons. I had several breeds. Homing pigeons, fantails that look like turkeys with their tails up and spread out. I had owl pigeons whose beeaks are short and I had Birmingham rollers. They'll be flying along and start turning backflips in mid air. Here's a video of them with some slo motion action. Can you eat em?
I heard they tasted like chicken. Maybe like big doves.

yeh you can eat em. I had one breed called Mondain. They're real big birds, about twice the size of a wild pigeon you see around town. They taste like a cross between a chicken and a dove and about the size of a cornish hen.. I raised mine to fly though. I could take the homers off 300-400 miles and they'd be back home before you knew it. I remember one time I let them loose and I lined one up with a spot on my windshield and it was flying at 55 MPH. The Rollers would just fly real high, almost out of sight and make big circles around the house
Used to climb up in my grandfathers barn (maybe 65 years ago). Catch pigeons and give them to my grandmother. She seemed to appreciate them and said she cooked them.
Do some reading up on pigeon roost rd.
Can't wait to get some more
Ranger, we used to go catch 15-20 at the old Gin and the old railroad station in newton just before dove season and used them for target practice
That fantail bird looks tasty!! BWAHAHAHAHA

Suckers are HUGE. It's a French Mondaine. Leave it to the french to breed a pigeon that was great tablefare
I got 6 Rhode Island Reds and 6 Barred Rocks from a hatchery back in August. They were supposed to be all pullets. Now 4 of them are crowing. Lol
Pam won't let me eat them so I'm trying to find somebody to give the roosters to.
I see a lot of free roosters on craigslist.
I'm seeing more people use dog kennels for their coops.
Looks like they crossed a Pigeon with a Turkey. Lol
