You could see them in a dark room. Real nice work. Glitter on the side of the heads?
looking good
Nice ties Skip!!! part of an order???
Nice jigs. I like the kip tails color.
Nice ties!
Thanks guys.
Yes glitter on head and yes Fatman part of an order that was 92 kip tail jigs.
Any hints where to get tails of that length(hair). The ones I have are about half that length.
Probably depends on where they come from, what wholesale place. I keep the tip sections because thy are even longer, but some I have are shorter especially at the opposite end and I save them for my personal use unless someone ask me for longer hair. I also usually ask for who ever I buy from to give me their longest tail hair. I can't even tell you how many I have because its a lot amd came from probably at least 4 or 5 different suppliers. When I find some I like I load up some.
you may want to check with Crazy Angler or Bob Marriott's.
also keep in mind these hooks are just #6 size too!
Skip, that is a beautiful job you did on those jigs!! and that is a color combo that flat works too.
Thanks Skip
Skip, what material is the red flash on these jigs. Thanks Ken
I like those... i use one strip of red krystal flash... chart or white is a sure thing
On these the red is just Floss.
Eye catching colors for crappie Skip. Are those heads the Old School Walleye Heads? I purchased some like that from Grousefly sometime ago.
No Len these are different and a mold was made just to pour these. I know the crappie will eat some of these for the guy they are going to. Couldn't mail them out until tomorrow due to the holiday.
Okay Scott, You will like how they do for sure. There are several colors that are just killer, like the one in my Sig. Also the same as this Hot Chartreuse except with a FL. Yellow head is really good. I hope your still catching them. I know you love them crappie! Maybe one day you can make it down this way for a little fishing.
Nice jigs. Skip, have the crappie moved to the back of creeks at Toledo Bend, or still deep? Water temp? I going there for six days next week. Thanks.
Thanks!
I don't know actually because it seems to me a dual answer. I can tell you some customers came up hear last weekend (a week ago) and caught lots in deeper water and were fishing down 15-18 feet. However I was messing around a couple weeks back near my neighbor's dock and caught a crappie on a Roadrunner in no more than 2 1/2 feet of water. Also some kids were up here a week or so before that and fishing near the same place in probably 3 to 4 feet of water and catching crappie and a few catfish on minnows.
I was hoping to get out on his dock just to trying some Slab Bandits on a drop shot rig because if still some in that shallow water I should catch some.
Okay thanks.
very nice ties skip
as always top shelf
