I aint, snapped on a dang 10 inch fesh.:banghead Aint got but one and had it out trying to do a side by side comparison, didnt fair well.
did catch one longling them minners tho, doing 1.6 into the wind to start another run and a pole doubled up.:biggrin
Don't tell me that, Rees. I'm waiting right now for 4 of 'em to be delivered. They tell me that if you cut the logo out and send it to them they will send you a new rod. Keep us posted, please.

Flanger, it most likely had gotten damaged at some point, I havent used it at all. Just one of them things. What did you get length wise?

It had to have been damaged.. They great rods... Only rods I've ever broken(2..not ozarks) were damaged.. Where they rode in boat had weakened
Order a new one from grizzly and just take the tip off
John, just got off the phone with BRM. He said he'd fix you up with a new tip. About $15.00. I'm gettin 14 footers.

Oooohhhh. MId section? Not sure about that. Didn't know you could buy a mid section......... makes sense that you could, but I dont think I have ever seen em for sale anywhere??????

I broke a mid section on a BnM 16.5 ft slow troll rod. I called about a replacement section. "You can't replace the section because each section has a guide." Is what I was told. I've removed the guide, ok will send you this section for another rod that will fit for this price and shipping. I went to Sportsmans and bought 2 new rods cheaper than the replacement section. That rod is now about 15" shorter than what it was and still fishing it.
