Fun Day

Had Hank out with me today and we enjoyed a really "nice" fall day with light winds and overcast skys out on the ville. We fished for about 5 hours and plum wore the fish out! With over 40 fish over the 10" mark caught and exceeding that 100 fish caught mark it was a really fun action packed day. Again today we had 6-7 fish about 12"+. Im targeting 6-10ft on the north end and using red/chartruese "ky lake killer" and White/chart from HookItBait on anywhere from a 16th to a 1/4 oz head. The fish are really starting to stack up in places and this is the best time to be out there. Fun fishin thats for sure!

Nice catch! I did pretty well in a few different spots. They seem a little scattered still, but one spot really produced a large number of fish. Three guys hauled them in this morning, unfortunately they also left a huge trash pile on the bank! I really hate that.

Had a great time Birdman!!!!! I've been fishing for several years (mainly bass) but some crappie also. I've also fished with several guides from Shelbyvile, Kentucky lake, Reelfoot, Erie and Lake Michigan and I can truely say that Tyler does a great job. I went into today with the thought of not only helping out a young man with his college expenses, but maybe learning a different way of targeting these fish. Let me say that Tyler can flat out fish, he works his butt off making sure that you have a good time and he is great to be around and very easy to talk with. Yes I did learn several things that I will be for sure to change and use each time I can get away from work and get on the water. I would highly recommend giving Tyler a call to book a trip with him.

Nice catch birdman... we were out in the rain also yesterday afternoon and fished to dark. The last hour was a fish almost every cast and all 11'-12' long. We were also using Hook-it baits with our custom jigs that our balanced to hang level under a cork. The two are a deadly combo.
