Great pic. Nows the time to get him started. Looks like he would give it a try now.
Love it! Hang onto that pic bud. That one is classic! Thanks for sharing.
Take him fishing ever chance you get.

Nice. Keep it going.
My grandson caught his first salmon at about that age. Just put the pokle in the pole holder and let him do it. Enjoy him while he is young. Teens and GIRLS will come way to soon.:cheers2:cheers2
My son died of cancer at the age of 50. My memories of the countless days that we fished together will last forever. Fish with him every chance you get.
God Bless,

My daughter is right around the same age and she loves eating fish and is always intrigued by them I hope when she gets a little older she as interested in it as I am because I would love her on the boat with me all the time
I hooked it he reeled it in...he had a big bass break his line a few minutes before...

That's one nice catch...especially for a young man his age!
Yep gonna take him out in the morning after i get off this 12 hour midnight shift--hopefully he will catch another....last time nothing was biting so we chased geese with the boat.
Make every trip a fun trip and you won't be able to get away without him. Great post and appreciate you sharing.
That's great. You can't enjoy fishing any more than to see a smile on a young man like that.
I see those snow shovels hanging on the wall; they give me the chills, I haven't used one of those things since I left Michigan 40+ years ago, Yes, once-in-a-while we get enough snow to shovel, but I just wait a day or two and the sun does the job. My favorite hand tool is a crappie pole.

Yep-had to buy a snow blower after last years storms....too much work for my old back!!!!!!!!!
