River was on today

Called up a buddy and left for the river about 1230. Wind wasn't bad in the sheltered side of the banks. Fished shallow and deep with only a few fish to show. Finally found the fish on wood and on a drop close by. The fish were suspended 10 ft deep in 15-30 fow. The colors today were white/chart, junebug/chart, and chart with red speckles. We tried a bunch of colors but the fish liked them the most. Looked at a lot of water and the fish are starting to stack up. Don't waste time in an area if you aren't seeing fish on the graph. Trawling still not bunched up yet to single pole. Shouldn't be much longer though.

he don't know a thing a bout not single pole ca!!! the only single thing he know a bout is a single shot camera !!! one picture of about 7-8 fish !!!!! almost a 5 gal bucket full!!!! lol . want even spread them out where we can see them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! if that bucket was almost full must a been a bunch of minners underenth!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey gotta take what i can cause was running late to daughters last football game lol. Good pict russ didnt know u took up whisker fishing lmbo, though thats how i try to but ain't always got time to do that. Meathead there was minners in that bucket for sure. They were regurgitated after my jig stung them in the lips!!!!

Don't them ole river crappie taste like barge fuel.

I recently figured out what the shad schools look like too. But I wouldn't recognize a crappie on a graph unless they jump out of the water and fish slap me. Does anyone have any pics of what crappie look like on a graph?

Yellow jacket out of your jigs as i lost em all. I did catch several on them before they succumbed to the brush. Big kev if u can trust a jigaholic prostaffer i can get you some pics. Just send me a cell number and next time i i txt ya some. The down imaging and side imaging are pretty nice and a necessity for what i do. The electronics have definitely made me more successful on the river. Cant always tell what fish they are at times but the difference between shad and other fish are easy to see as well as gar and them big carps.

My taste buds cant tell the river fish from lake caught ones IMO.

I give up on meathead you is getting old and senile :-) But your wife ties a pretty jig lol.

ABH I think fish slapped was the one looking for pics. I been breaking in and stealing your graphs memory so I'm good!

Dont tell meathead but this pict is from the river i never fish lol. Red is showing crappie suspended to right of brushpile and the shad is shown green to the right also suspended. I caught a bunch of slabs off this spot that day. Found em with hds and the fished it.
