# 3 is the perfect description of the tackle box on my boat lol. In fact i just cleaned it out and recycled 3 bags :O
i will admit it... my fiance out fishes me almost every single time we go fishing! :)
Good article and a lucky man you have too.
#3 and #5...My girlfriend fishes with me every chance she gets....She is off work tomorrow and the weather is going to change for the worse here in Tennessee Friday so Im taking of at lunch tomorrow just so she can get her fishin fix. I look cross ways at her when she brings that big bag with her to the boat but later on she breaks out the food and it aint potted meat...lol...by the way she can shoot a dock with the best ..If you dont ask your wife or GF to go neither of you know what you are missing....
I know you're talking about Billbobs boat there in number three.
#3 you ladies pay attention to detail, different shades of red,We see red, and last but not the least you ladies have the "LUCK" factor and are not afraid to try different things.Brenda says do ya think this color will work,I thinking you would'nt catch me using that pink on pink jig.shes wearing me out.I say real nicely have you got another one!!!!! cause you know its the right thing to do you want to do your part and yes the chicken salad sandwiches, cold ice tea are a lot better for lunch and if it the fish is only ten inches its a nice one!!!!! Good post!!!!!
Well said Mrs Crappie Stalker. My wife just absolutely loves to go fishing with me. She's loves it so much, I have a hard time getting out of the house by myself to go fishing with the guys.:biggrin
Great article! My husband and I go fishing together as much as possible. I love it as much as he does. We are both like little kids when we plan a fishing trip to a new area. And yes the breafast (before we head out) and lunch samiches are much better when I go (his words, not mine). The only time I don't go with him is if my job interferes.

Wifey's always working and making money so I can go fishing.....she doesn't care to go fishing with me and I don't care to go to work with her...actually a pretty good setup. All five points you make are right on especially #5. Thanks for the article.
My Wife has tolerated me for 32+ years now and has a strong fear of the water and doesn't swim, so the boat thing is waaay down on her things to do list. She never tells me not to go, which is the next best thing. I think we'd have a conversation if a woman showed up in pics from the boat. You guys that have girls (of any age) at home that like to go and you don't take them, SHAME on you. Both my Daughters have a strong love and understanding of things outdoors from our time together when growing up. Great article Vonna. I gotcha on #3 though, everything in it's place, but if you don't eat before you get in, my snacks are weak. Definite advantages to the female factor in the boat.
Good article Vonna.....my wife will fish from the bank with me but thats it.....she is scared of boats and scared to be on the water. She has gone with me out on the boat many times but just does not like it and her fears keep her from enjoying herself. But she does support my fishing so thats a plus.
you know you can get in my boat anytime
Amen to # 5. I didn't know all women brought good munchies. Next time I see a buddy and his lady out in the boat, I will ask him what do they have to eat.

Great article,
As the prime fishing person in my household and a woman i agree with all that you have said. I crappie fish by myself an average of 5 days and nights a week through the season. Of course i live on the Harris Chain and my boat is out my back door in my dock------when i leave my husband says ill see you when you get back as he never knows when i will be back! Not only luv the fishing, but just being on the water and yes watching those sunrise and sunsets is a wonderful feeling. Thanks for the article, and if you are ever my way, lets get together.

Boy Vonna I knew you were a good fisherwomen, and one heck of a ribwomen, but you're pretty dang good as a writerwomen too. Does Paul really know what a prize you are? :cheers2
Thanks for all the great comments!
my wife goes to fish and eat . alwayes got food on the boat .that is one reason for the pontoon boat .
You go girl! My wife spent almost as much time on the water as i do. And sad too say she have the only wall mount in the house.
Kena '' nimrod's catch'' loves to go take pictures and decorate the boat as she calls it. I wished she fished with me more.
Nice article! I miss fishing with my wife. Her arthritis gets seriously in the way. One day when I did something my dad had taught me, he said "good job." When I said "thanks, I learned it from the states second best fisherman" he asked me, "what do you mean second best?" I explained I learned it from him, and that mom was the best. She can catch fish without even trying. He agreed.
Yeah my wife smokes me almost everytime we go perch fishing. Luckily its usually too cold out when I go for crappie so she sleeps in lol.
LOL My wife tells me when were going fishing. :fish Like every weekend:highfive
I wish my wife would go with me more often. Good article.
