Caught these verticle jigging doing the same stuff as my previous post... had a limit in four hours after a dismal start...Then they just lit up my Ozark rod with some Vicious Thumps. I stopped counting at 35. LOL

Nice mess Russ. I only kept 15 today but Nimrod Lake was whitecapping today. You still using Spanky? I caught mine on Spanky and Southern Pro umbrella tubes in silver /white till wind ran me in. I really like to see ya'll posting them specks , do you catch them different areas or just luck of the draw which ya catch?
What silver and white nimrod. Thought they only made one color purple and chart lol. Them fish must be migratora if they are eating silver and white
Nice catch Russ.
Very nice!
Right now I really think you can catch em on any bright colored jig hair or tube. it's just a matter of location... the right pads, wood cover, or deep water brush. When you find em they will hit the kitchen sink CA. As far as specks they seem to be better in the southern end of the lake. Mostly whites are caught right now in the creeks with an occasional nice black. I get real mad at them whites in the fall cos they do such a good job of advoiding me in the summer unlike the black crappie. So for me it's a little white crappie payback fall through spring. LOL
going to come your way next week got to take ms.meatgetter fishing !!! spanky has keep her busy!!
Man I tell ya they don't call you crappie pro for nothin there russ, that info you gave me put me right on those crappie.
