LaCygne on a beautiful monday
Looking at the weather forcast for the rest of the week (high winds....oh yeah we do live in OZ!!) I deceided I'd better go for my one fishing day of the week and LaCygne was the choice. I fished the south end of the lake in the morning and kept 23 that ranged from 10.25 to 12in. I went up the river under the bridge and tried stumps and laydowns with nary a bite...lots of shad flippin so don't know what the deal is:dono The colors of the trees up along the bluffs was spectacular..best I've seen in many years...I guess the drought was good for the fall color:highfive The best baits today was 2in. blue/white and chart./white wasshoppas on 1/16 & 1/8 jigheads....yep NO MINNOWS......maybe just maybe no more of em til next summer:biggrin The lake is a little low but had no trouble launching or loading. :fish to you all.
