Glad to hear it Harry.
Got ours booked too!
We'll reserve ours in a couple or 3 months. Just October now and the invasion of yankees don't start hot and heavy til mid March. I sure do like that lake. I went up a couple weeks after the tourney we had and caught a few. Mikes one fine fella and I hope we use him again this year
These are the web-sites to both Roy's Store and Southern Star cabins (also known as Bait's n Thang's). Either place will take good care of you. http://www.royscabins.net or Bait 'n' Thangs - Southern Star RV Park and Cabins - Chatham MS
Southern Star is the place to stay.....nice and clean and no bugs
And Southern Star Baits and Thangs is usually where the registration and the weigh in is.
Mikes place is the only place I'll stay
Roy's Store Cabins is the only place I'll stay. If you're tempted to stay elsewhere pm Barbie or I before you make reservations for an unbiased, fair, and informed review of both establishments.
Never stayed at either but giving Roys a shot first.
you made the best choice !!!!!!!!!!!
Mike Jones works hard to accommodate these tournaments by providing a weigh in pavilion and even cooking for them. Roy's might have a slight advantage in accommodations, but Mike has the better bait store. Mike also has better launch facilities for a tournament
mike does a good job at hosting a tournament at southern star no question about that , but the cabins at roy's are better also. there is a lot more room for as parking at mike's also and the pavilion makes a nice place for weigh-in's .
Don't forget about Mikes Tameles LOL
those come from grandma best in greeville!!!!
Don't tell Sat that
I'm stayin with Jerry.
