Nice!
Nice. My next trolling motor will be the same one you just got.
Just had to have what Charlie has....rotfl rotfl rotfl
(You still have us all beat in how many SI units a fisherman needs on 1 boat)...:)
Rickie
...congrats on the foretrex...I'll have one someday...
You only live once :tongue.
how do you fish? a lot of folks around here get into the ipilot units. different style of fishing requires different equipment, curious what prevalent inyour area.
I spider rig most of the time, but have to say I really like two poling.
Congrats! I'd really like to get one of those too. I'd never heard that fishing style dictates what TM you need.
There are advantages and disadvantages to both styles of TM's. In my area we pull crankbaits as often as we slow troll. Having a A/P doing the driving while pulling cranks is a blessing (especially in windy conditions) it takes away all of the stress and allows you to focus on your fishing.
Foot controls get the nod when fishing in the woods. Terrovas can also be used in the woods with their foot controls but the electric motors can't turn as fast as a foot control when your boat gets out of control or if you encounter a sudden under water stump or log and need to make a course correction quickly.
