The phone should be syncing your contacts up to your google account
Ifn he didnt set it up they wont, best thing I ever did was backup assist. Keeps up with your apps as well so its no prob to get everything back going.
don;t have a google account LOL I tried 3 different times to set one up and it never would send me the info at my alt email account like it said it would. I even went to the CSpire store and they couldn't set it up
