Since it looks to be another slow day I thought I'd post this. We helicopter drivers used to call these guys "zoomies".

That was neat. Those F15s are bad. Thanks
Really awsome video .
My undies would have a bunch of skid marks.
Did you know that at Ch-54 Skycrane Helicopter can gain altitude faster that a F-15? Meaning it can get from say 500 feet to 10000 feet faster than a F-15
Thanks, Major. I caught myself leaning back in my chair and rocking left and right with the stick.

I used to work on the SkyCrane and if I remember right, it had a max load capacity of about 10 tons. LOVED those Birds and hated it when we changed of to Chinooks. We even flew all the way to California to pull support for some ops in the mountains. Thats the day I found out you DO NOT step on the yellow line at the airfield. Me and another fella found ourselves facedown on the hot concrete with a M-16 at the back of our head.
At'd be a Poohook Lol
Think the 38,000 lbs was total weight, including the chopper. It had 3 engines. Two main and one APU was only for Hydrolics
Used to watch the F-4s flying all the time. They were right next to us and lots of times we'd be hovering, waiting on one to take off
nope nothing with a hook major ask me at camp
