I thought I saw on here some time back a chart that would tell me how deep my Bandit was by the feet of line out and the speed of the boat. Anyone have anything like this?

I've always been told that the amount of line you have out divided by 10 + 2 is a good formula. So for instance if you have 100 feet of line out divided by 10 equals 10 + 2= 12 feet deep. that would be a good estimate I'm sure there are other variables such as line diameter type and how your holding your mouth but that formula should get you close.
Check this out it may be what you are looking for LR. http://www.crappie.com/crappie/archi...pth-chart.html
thank you, but the link does not work in the other thread.
LR, I found that on the Mississippi boards. There is a sticky there on the top of the page about pulling cranks. The link is in there. Try that. If that don't work maybe one of the other guys has the information saved somewhere.
I liked the one at the top that the link is supposed to go to made copies and laminated the 300 and 200 together and dropped it in my crankbait box. Here is a link to another one not as pretty but will work just fine.

Don't forget this is with 10lb test. Smaller diameter lines run deeper, larger runs shallower.
Your welcome and RCC is right. Line diameter and type will have effect your depths somewhat.
XP, you're a resourceful guy. Looks like someone stayed awake in class!
