Sho is nicer than the old Pontiac I had as a teenager. Heck, this thing is cleaner than mine! Too nice for a 16 year old but I couldn't pass on it, too good a deal. He is so proud, he might sleep in it tonight!

First one I drove was the family '55 Studibaker. Next was a '56 Buick. First one I paid for was a '70 Wildcat, awesome car.
Never heard of a wildcat, Maj. You mean Cougar?
That Wildcat was an awesome ride.

Nice truck Feelay. It's hard to find a good used truck anymore and it not cost as much as a new one..Congrats to your son. My son is counting down until he can get his permit.
Nice!......congrats to the young man!
I remember getting my first ride. It was a 1985 Toyota pickup. That was in 1994 and it still makes me smile thinking back on that day. Good job Carl, bet that boy is on cloud 9 right now.
nice truck my first ride was a 66 ford galaxy 500
84 Ford tempo I was styling.Congrats.
69 thunderbird was dad's favorite . My first love was a 64 impala chevy , 2 door . Rolled leather seats with a 327 .
Had a 73 LeMans, fill it up on premium for less than twenty bucks and race all weekend. Hwy 51 back in the day was our drag strip so to speak, have seen em 4 wide running side by side. Even seen Greg Boren race his go cart against cars on that stretch, times were simple then. Lot of good memories!!
Congrats to the young man and my condolences to you Feelay. My gray hair started multiplying and my wallet started subtracting when we bought ours their first vehicle. I guess it's almost worth it however to see the pride and joy on their face
You done real good feelay.
My first ride was a yeller '77 Monte Carlo with the black vinyl roof and hub caps. I did the paying and Dad did the car choosing. I had to dig 8' deep and 2' around post holes all summer to save up for it.
A year later, for some reason I still don't understand, especially now that I have a teenager driving, Dad thought it a good idea to buy me a one year old 300 ZX.
One year, two wrecks, and three tickets later; he "upgraded" me to a 4 cylinder Jap truck.
The best thing bout gettin kids a vehicle, is they are now your taxi service. Need milk? Go get it son. Need youngest kid picked up at school? Go get yo brother. They wanna go feshin? Hook the boat up yourself and go. It'll give ya a lot of recliner time.

Wonder which boat Little Fellay will be pulling??:dono
What's up with all you fellers opting for the chick cars fer yer first rides? Y'all all start out ghey or sumpn?
My first ride was a rust colored 79 f100 step side with a 302, 3 on the column, no air but it did have an am radio. It was rust colored because that's the color rust was back then. Put 2 motors and 4 clutches in that ride before it was done.
Wannabe...
Very few trucks for first vehicles in that day, plus I was a city boy back then. My classmates couldnt believe I had rather fish and hunt than go out on the weekends.:biggrin
Not near as much ghey in that day either, was a better time for sure.
Celebrity classic 4 door. Jus thankful to have sthing then but embarrassed at the time.
