A way to save a track line to a SD card on the Humminbirds, thanks. Where I have been fishing is extremely hard to navigate during low water situations. Where the water is just over the banks can be very frustarating. Thenks for the help.

Yes. I can't remember the steps, but tracks can be saved on the unit and imported/exported on SD cards. I just scroll through the menu to find what I want. You can also import/export info to/from Hummbirdviewer on your home computer or laptop and view on Google Earth. What unit do you have.

I think so but I don't know how to do it....ask Double gobble he knows all about them.
Nothing big, 798csi and a 768 combo. Really want to work on this track in few places around here, got a good one from Bryant out to turkey and then downstream about a mile and half and upstream about 2 miles. Needs to be on a card and want to extend it downstream as the water gets lower, hopefully to where the creek is filled in.
Rees are you not fishing the BMO???
No sir, prefished 2 days with BRM last weekend and have fished the last 2 days and havent put hands on but one that was pver 2 pounds, did roll good fish Thursday but cant count them.
I am on a mission and 100 bucks buys lots of minners and fuel, well not so much fuel but lots of minners.

What I am asking is, the track is already in the FF, can I put it on a card now or will I have to make a new one with the card in there??
Its in there just not on the card
Your FF saves them automatically
As soon as you turn the thing on its recording your track. You don't have to have a card in it.

Kdavid is right the unit saves a track when powered on till turned off. There is a option in the menu to export waypoints/tracks/routes to SD card. That is what u want. I use it to run/scan for brush piles at the console. Then export and take card to bow unit and import so I can go back and fish those spots. I will try to go power up and send u the steps. Maybe a day or two. G was right about DoubleGobble. Get with him if you need to know sooner. He has a good handle on the HB units for sure.
