Almost mistook you for Crappie pro.:Rofl
Man them are huge!!!!!
See J.W.!!! I told you he was funnin' with us... That's his nomal catch....these came out of his REAL cooler...not the tiny one he usually shows us. Those are ninja master fish!!
and he caught them on minners also!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Those would have been bigger, but if I would have stretched any further, my eyes would have bugged out.
In all fairness, one was on a minner jig combo and the other on a June bug/char jig. The second would have been on a minner too, but we had done run out. Carol and I did have them patterned pretty well and ended up with 8 and3/4 gallon bags of fillets which we plan to use at our church fry on the 28th. Downside was it costs another 20 bucks for an extra cooler, but I would do it any day for the great fishing it was. The list of waypoints for nimrod is growing and there is great satisfaction in knowing you found and patterned the fish with no assistance. I sure would not have been able to do this a few years ago. Thanks to all who have passed along sound fishing techniques that has served Carol and I so well this past week.
Very nice........:ThumbsUp and congrats.
Great catch weed hoppa and Carol.
You sure do have some long arms on your squatty body.

Now that's what I'm talkin bout. Nice fish Randall. Did you use yer spinner hooks?

As bad as I hate to say it those 2 fish did not come off the spinners, but I did catch fish on the spinners everyday. One was a straight jig catch and the other was on a minnow tipped jig. The jigs were some brand of Umbrella or a Charlie brewer slider in a Junebug/chartreuse. Both types of jigs caught just as good and I used the same color on both. Those are what I ran on the spinners as well. Those were great fish for Carol and I (she actually made the catch), but they were just over 14.5 and I'd estimate the weight at about 1.25 or so. Here are the jigs. I've lost the package on the umbrella tube, so if anyone can tell me what it is I would be thankful. Thought it was a Southern Pro Crappie magnum, but I think I'm wrong. It did have a solid body. The slider is on the left, the other is an I don't know.

If you had arms as long as some guys on here they would look like 3 lbs. :yikes LOL!
That's better I want to see some fish when I look at a post and good ones to. Good job rcc.

That jig on the right looks like a crappie thunder body. Yum makes a similar sillies body tube too. Either of those 2 would be my guess.
Looking Good RCC. I need your camera man to take my picture next time.:fish
That may be a crappie thunder body. I need to figure out cause everyone that I own is tied on :highfive
Speaking of pics Jerry, I somehow missed yours in all rolls of film I took. Good to see you again, and thanks for the awesome icecream.
It is a mr crappie jig. I cant remember the exact name but i will check it out tonight. I have some in my tackle box. They are pretty much the same thing as a crappie thunder w/o the rr head.

Randal, that looks exactly like the crappie thunder body by Blakemore. Go to their website and find "replacement bodies" and you can buy those in many different color combinations, without the jig and spinner. Put'em on any kind of jig you want.
