Maj, shouldn't that be 5 poles for individual on Butla,Sardis and Enid with 3 on Granada?
Pole limit is 4 per person not to exceed 8 per boat except on Grenada it will be 3 per person not to exceed 6 per boat.
Thats a Tx rule for the FJ's slimey. State rule is 3 per person on Grenada...5 per person on Sardis, Enid, and Arkabutla........everywhere else as many as you want.
Grenada is a lake manager rule.
I had to double check it myself lol

Brm, we finally agree on sumpin.
Bwahaha
If y'all think about it a sec the answer will pop in your head
Slimey, you're the second person to ask this question on two different threads in the last 24 hrs. Doesn't look like they are gonna answer you.
Maybe there is some truth to that rumor the FJ Committee thinks they owe no one an explanation for anything.
You might try pm'ing Major. I know he's posted several times today. If you can get him to answer you, post it up. There's several of us curious for the answer.
No answer needed. It's a rule established by the elected FJ Committee. That's all anyone needs to know. Just like anything else, if you don't care for an organizations operating rules and procedures then don't participate.

Thank you. I too think I have a great attitude.

Wow! I have been busy today with other stuff, didn't know that I'd be the target of discord. We, the directors of the C.C FJ Series try to come up with the best set of rules that will make fishing in the FJ's fun and enjoyable. It's a shame that a few of you want to destroy the FJ series and I'm determined to see that that doesn't happen. I find it hard to believe that just because you have a disagreement with someone that you would want to destroy the whole forum. I got an e-mail from one of the haters and I couldn't believe it. WHY is my question. This is supposed to be about fishing and enjoying each other.
Maj, please feel free to post our PM's. I asked a simple question and addressed the F.J. Series as "yalls little fruit jar group" and you took extreme offense for some reason. Im not real sure why, as I did not mean this in any insulting way. And as far as being a hater or trying to destroy the board, not hardly. I asked a simple question and for some reason you take offense. Im sure ill get the boot after this but after the way things have been lately I'm not sure that I care.
I haven't said much on the fj stuff and maybe I shouldn't since as of right now I have no intention of fishing them. But, if people (the majority that fish) like using the limit of poles set by the state for the individual lakes being fished then doesn't that constitute liking to fish also. To say that people are haters because they disagree with a rule and would like a say is assanine and wrong. That is part of the problem arising with the fj's.
I cant speak to the answer about pole limits, however, I've said this before. There are a few on here who will run down anything to do with the FJ's. Any time anything is posted about them, these few ALWAYS make negative comments about them!!!! If anything hurts the FJ's, it is these negative people spouting their negative comments!!!! I understand that you may not like the FJ's, the committee members, the rules, the lakes, the hair styles or anything else. THATS FINE!!! But please understand that all you are doing (maybe intentionally, maybe not) is hurting those who do like the fellowship and friendly competition. If that is your intention, maybe you should take a look at yourself!!! If you disagree with the FJ's, please excise your right not to participate!!! If you choose to participate, you will be welcome every time!!! HOWEVER, if you dont want to participate, please do not try to ruin a good thing for everyone else!!!!
Speck Out!!!
should be able to use as many as the law alows
Slimeyslab, go back and read the conduct and posting rules you agreed to when you signed up. Posting of PMs is strictly against the rules.
I will add that all the work that goes into these tournaments is daunting!!! It is a thankless job!!! I think Major, Yikess, Big Blue, Satdoc, Rees Guide and Spiderwoman have done an excellent job!!! Your all ROCK!!!
Not that I feel the need to explain myself, but. Me and my neighbors up on the tn river run a similar little fruit jar series as you guys down there. I am well aware of the work involved and had originally asked the question about the pole limit in case my club was ever faced with the question. I had no idea it would make me a "hater" or someone who was trying to destroy the board. The fact that I called the fruit jar series"little" really seamed to upset a certain person. Not sure why, I fish in a little club and it doesn't bother me to say it.
X1000000000!!!! I'll see y'all at as many as I can!!!! I just wanted to know the reason the rule was changed, but I don't care if we can only use 2 poles per person. I think it's a great bunch of people that show up at the majority of the FJ's, and I will continue to support the fishing, and fun the FJ's provide, not to mention the opportunity to learn new waters, which is a huge advantage if you ever decide to go to the next level of competition. .

Seriously?? Yet again ANOTHER mess over the fj's??? I have a dandy idea, if u don't fish them, have never fished them, and have no intention of fishin them, how bout u just put a freakin lid on it?? Seems kinda silly for those who don't fish them to even give a rats behind about the rules, and seems to me that the only intent is to stir up crap. So just stop, I'm so sick of this crap I can hardly stand it.
And for those that do fish them, simply pming any of the board members wld probably get you any information you are seeking. But then again, MOST of us already know this.
Pfffffffft.
Since I was the one who started this thread when I asked my question Sat, one of the Directors answered my question with this post which is all I needed. They were elected to those positions to set the rules which is good enough for me. I have held every one of those positions in a Green carp club and would never do it again. I will echo what Speck said you guys do a fantastic job given the thanklessness of it.
my computer has porn on it again
Just take a breath and reread my post. I just asked a question wanting to know the advantages or disadvantages of a pole restriction. Why has this gotten you in such a rage? This is an open forum last time I checked. And I still have not gotten an answer. Guess me and my little club can just figure it out on our own since apparently there is some tight lipped knowledge on here that is top secret. It's like me getting upset with you for questioning a call made by Arkansas coaches, your not on the team so why are you questioning them?? By the way sorry about ULmonroe.
Drama queens abound, beagle just sits around, y'all have a good day, I'sss goin fishin////// and my fruit jar is full of shine
