We're a little bit different team this year. We actually have depth. When our 2nd string comes in, there's not much difference. Last year our 2nd team wasn't that good. Add min that we have a QB who can actually hit the side of a barn plus 4 senior WR's. Gonna be a different game this year. heck, we almost beat you guys the last 2 years. I hope you are rite DD, not against State just get tired of the hipe. Last year was rediculous but this year does seem better, maybe a good season is in store. My bother was slamming Ole Miss for playing a weak, I cant even remember who they just played, while State was playing JSU. I dont understand the logic in this. State's wins last year were nothing to brag about, yet the bragging was done by a .500 team which they were before the bowl game. Hope they can win some big games this year and I hope you are rite. I have gotten to the point that I pull for all MS teams and the SEC, Ole Miss and State have been and are weak in my eyes, State being stronger, and not much to cheer for. I know, if you are a fan you should be a fan no matter what but this is just BS that they pour down our throats to keep folks buying tickets. I have spent my last dime in Oxford for athletic events. Maybe State will make our state proud this year, hope so but not holding my breath.

think you need your glasses checked ya gewb. Since we've got Mullen running our team, we have a good team. Ifn it wasn't the the refs the last 2 years, especially last year, we'd have won a couple more games. Look at 2010. We won 9 games, beat Florida, Georgia, skulldrug Michigan and finished 13th in the nation. We had Auburn (they won the national championship that year) beat but the refs game them the game. Last year, we had auburn beat again, ALMOST beat LSU and played bamer a good game til late when our lack of depth kicked in. We just didn't have enough horses to keep up with them and they pulled away at the end. Last year we had one of the toughest schedules in the nation. we had 6 loses and 5 of our loses were to the number 1,2,5,9 and 19th teams in the nation, Only Auburn was the lonely unranked team that beat us alst year. We SHOULD be 7-0 going into the the Bamer game. Not sayin we'll beat them but we're in far better shape this year that we've been in the last several years. BTW hype has a Y not an I hehe

Hope you are rite but you have to admit the HIPE of being ranked pre-season proved to be a downfall to me, never did live up to it which is hard to do. 7-0 would be awesome but am afraid that may not happen, hope so. Time will tell, hope the Dawgs give our state something to be proud of. I dont see State's schedule being as stout as you say it was last year and only see 4 ranked teams when they played which they lost to all of them. The rest of the schedule was weak. Whining about refs or anything else for that matter is a waste of time, when the horn sounds at the end of the game its over and it is what it is. Be willing to bet that if by some fluke Ole Miss had beat State last year that Mullins head would have been on the chopping block, fortunately for him Ole Miss sucked.
