Alrite guys
Barrometeric pressure is at 29.84 and on the rise. Does it effect the crappie like it does the green carp??? Ifn I can find a hole to get out of the wind this afternoon I am gonna put the Astro in the water for a test run, is it worth putting the rods out and trying em??

Please be extra careful coming out. When that lake is rolling you can get in trouble in a hurry.

Where we put in at werent bad at all. Couldnt run but a half mile or so so not much tweekin on the Merc. 101 will pull the Astro to a smooth 4.5 MPH but didnt get many bites running that fast so we back it down anbd made a few rounds. Caught 3 green carps, 2 whites and 1 drum, no crappie this time but it was a good maiden voyage for the Astro.
Did almost have a JA&^ moment when we got there one of the tires was going down and no spare, got to use my trailer jack I got from EZ and Mr Goodtime brought me his spare to the ramp. Thanks Goodtime, once again you helped out.
All in all not a bad first run other than the transducer on the FF not working, must have broke a wire either removing it from the other boat or installing it on this one.
Lake was rolling big time and we had no desire to go out on the main part of the lake.

Glad you finally got it on the water.
-
glad it's working for ya man.
-
Dd go fix it with your multimeter . Be sure and take some duct tape . Lol
-
Not sure the multimeter is what I need for the ducer and no duct tape either, 101 has a ducer built into it just need a cable to go from it to the fish finder. Felt kinda weird not knowing depth of water, prolly the first time I have been without fishfinder capability in 10 years, even on the jon boat.

Anytime john, i'm just a phone call away
-
You sure you got it pointing down? It's been known to happen round here.

Yep, wire is on the top side, I think. Anyways I looked at how DD mounted his and did the opposite so that part should be fine.
