I am a guardian now.

I posted last June that Mrs DP and I gained tempoary custody of two of our grandkids. It has almost been 90 days and that is all "temporary" means. The situation ain't much better. So, it was necassary that we gained permanant custody which was granted Wednesday. Even though I know it was the right thing to do, it is hard to be on the other side of the court from your own kid. He is a loving father. But, just can't shake the demons. I will continue to work with him. The mother is a total waste of humanity in my mind. But, while trying to show the Christian thing to do, I will not poison the catfish and turtles with her carcass.
