cant really see the pic, but as long as its pos-pos and neg-neg you should only have 12v! Does DD need to hurry home from the coast with his multimeter and check it for you?

would like to have that many volts in my boat too but gotta wait till get settled in to new job and then take out a loan for them kinda batteries like you got John :)
I am curious to see what the long run holds for these batts, I feel that they wont be any higher in the long run and I know they out last the others on the water, time will tell.

Why not, its just one extra. Running accesories for extended time makes cranking the Merc sluggish after several hours.
Thought about doing the same thing. Would it matter if you used a deep cycle or cranking for that extra battery
Would need em to be comparablr for best performance I would think. Guys, there are days I unload my boat and never crank the Merc until I am ready to load up. After running everything off yhe cranking batt for as much as 8 hours it will be low and my ole Mrrc is cold natured. Hand starting a 200 mrtc aunt fun .
