Dale and I are planning on making it there.
I am going to try and make this one. I am going to the LOZ camp the week before like 1 rookie so if i survive that i will be headed down there thursday after work. I will need some help because i have never fished truman lake before.
We will be glad to hook you up with some spots. I usually have people follow me up the lake to lay a trail and then they. An fish there way back to Bucksaw. Usually some open seats with some of us local guys also. I usually have room to take someone along. If you don't want to drag your boat all the way down I would be glad to take you out and I am sure we could send you out each day with someone differant if you want to. Should be a good shallow dipping bite again by then and also rigging should be going strong.
Thanks, trying to talk the better half into coming so if she comes i will need to pull the boat down there. If not since i will be the rookie at the camp will probally have a bunch of kp duty and little time to fish.
We don't work the rookies to hard. Trying to decide what to eat next and who to BS with next will be your hardest task. Unless you drink and then the hardest is usually trying to climb out of the tent the next morning. But we have pros at all of these things so won't take you long to catch on.
Just booked A 48 loop a will be down Fri night with my son. I'll have room in the boat if the person doesn't mind a6 year old in the boat. Let me know what else will be needed and I'll see what we can do.
I just had Chris put the weekend on the calander.
I think this is a yes.

Glad your going to make it by Gary. Hope to have a good turn out. First fall camp at Truman for several years and hope we have enough interest to start having them each spring and fall from now on.
A15 be in Friday morning
My plans have changed a little bit we're bringing a different vehicle down and not my truck so I won't have room for the wood in the Yukon. I have table and chicken covered if someone can bring more wood for the campfire that would be grate. My dad is coming along so we will be staying at bucksaw in a room. If someone is coming down and doesn't have a camp site they're welcome to use mine or it can be used for extra parking.
What site did you have?
I have site A048
The wife and I have a room at the lodge for Friday night and we gotta head back home Sat afternoon. Barring any calamities, we are going to try to come up early afternoon Friday in time to help with what ever we can. Setting up, helping cook, serving, clean up, toting, shuttle to and from the campground and the Lodge, what ever. We will bring up a couple of cases of bottled water and a bunch of jalapeno poppers.
Jared you just point and say sick'em and we will be glad to help any way we can. Really looking forward to it......... BJ
We won't work you to hard at your first camp. It was decided to not a fish fry at this one to make it easier on everyone as far as the cooking goes. It's all about kicking back and enjoying the company. Can't wait to see everyone from other camps and meet all the new ones.
I will see what is left when I get down there tomorrow evening. If there is nothing closer I may take you up on it and settle up for it when you get down to camp. Looking like a typical camp with a wet weekend. I am bringing my canopy with the side enclosure. Figure we can out two canopies together and wrap my side walls along the two ends and backs to block some wind and rain. If it looks to rough Saturday evening we may move to the pavilion at Bucksaw.
Jigging15 my cell number is on my profile page give me a call or txt if you need any thing or get there before us. I'm hopping to be down early but we'll see how that works, i have a stop to make in Warsaw on the way hopping i won't be to long there or spend to much..
Sounds good. I may swing down tonight to see Rick and Dale. Have to work a few hours tomorrow and will come home and hook up boat and head down. Not sure if I will stay Thursday night or not. That's what is nice about being 15 minutes away. If not I will head down early Friday morning to get things set up and help Buckwheat get things ready in A-44.
My number is 660-822-6001 of anyone needs help finding the campground or has any trouble on the water.
If anybody needs anything or you see a silver metal flake Skeeter on the water with to big guys and a kid and not sure if it's us or not give me a call or txt. If you see us feel free to stop and chat. See everyone there tomorrow around noon or so.
