Heat Wave
I love the heat. My body has always adjusted to it well especially since I am very active outside in the summer. But I have got to say that 112-115 degree heat every day is ridiculous. Think about it. If we get a break in this and the temp drops 20 degrees it will still be 95 degrees. LOL. I swear I smelled boiled fish at the lake the other day.

Same with me but 112 really slaps me in the face! 100 sounds almost cool!

Downhill stretch now guys 'nother month, month and a half at the most and things should get more comfortable.

August is about the hottest month of the year so we gotta get thru the next 30 days first.:( You guys stay hydrated.

I'm in the middle of a bathroom remodel and had to remove drywall off the ceiling which in turn made a whole bunch of blown in insulation come down into the shower area. The bathroom heated up pretty fast from the rush of attic air. I got on the ladder and stapled some 4 mil visqueen to the top of the ceiling joists, then took 4 large contractors bags of the insulation upstairs and into the attic to lay over the plastic. I was up there about 25 minutes and am guessing it was around 125 degrees or so. When I came down, I went outside to cool off. I didn't want to go from that kind of heat straight into the air conditioning. I remember last year when the 110 plus heat was around and a 100 day slipped in due to overcast and it felt like a cool front.
I'm thinking about a night time trip on the water this Saturday.

Reaper - That makes a WHOLE LOT OF SENSE to me:highfive

I am ready for it to cool down, everyday of this type of heat gets old real quick.
-
We just had a 5 minute rain shower in SW OKC and it felt like fall (for a while.)
-
I've had enough of this heat also. I agree with Ranger except I'm not sure about the boomi box! :) Thinking about a real early trip Sat morn, say 5 to 9, but not real anxious to get up that early--but if can catch some crappie.............

Fished to other day in my buddy's boat with a cover--what a difference some shade makes--until we got back to the ramp to load the boat. Out in that sun is way way too hot! But like dino, says, about 30 days from now we should state seeing some cool temps. My thermo topped out today at 107.8 !

Just remember when Dove season starts and that is when the first cold front blows in and sends them to Texas.
