Lost our Petey today, his last breaths were felt by my hand as I petted him laying on his side, in his last moment's on earth. Our family loved Petey... he went through life as a loving dog and never hurt a single soul during his time here and spent countless hours with me on the water over the years... When I pass from this world I hope to see him in heaven running towards me across a green field with ears flopping. RIP Petey 11-1-97/07-29-12

I'm sorry to hear about your buddy CP. You and the family had him with you for along time and loosing him is like loosing a member of the family. Count your blessings for being able to enjoy him for so long. From the picture I can tell he was a happy member of the fmily and well taken care of. Time will heal the pain and loss and maybe one day you'll see fit to have another pet running around the house.
I'm very sorry to hear about Petey. I've gone through that in the past and I really dread that day with Ike. Keep fond memories.

Sorry for your loss Russ. I know what your going through. 2 months ago ,mine of 14 years passed. My wife of 22 years and I never had kids and our pets are our family and kids. I have had a dog by my side my whole life and will always. Sorry again.

Sorry to hear about Petey, Russ. I've been through that more than once, and know how hard it is. It's like losing a family member to me. Think of the good times and remember them often.
So sorry for you. This made me pick up my old dog and give her some extra pets. Time helps the healing but we always remember them fondly.

Petey was a very loveable dog, he loved being on my lap, laying on his side flapping his front paws begging for pets...greeting us when we come home, resting at my bed side, howling along with us as we sing happy birthday to a loved one, rolling over for his treats, traveling and going fishing in my boat. So sad to see him leave us. We loved Petey so very much. I have not been able to turn the sudden tears off. Man it Hurt's... Thank's agian for all your condolences they are a great help.
Isaiah Chapter 65 Verses 17-25 tells me there is a place in Heaven for friends like Petey. I lost "Tippy" a few years ago; he was the best friend I ever had bar none. I beleive it's very likely I'll see hem again some day. I feel your pain.

I can understand your hurt.Lots of us have been through the same situation,I lost my beloved buddy ten years ago, tears come in my eyes just talking about her,Consider yourself very fortunate to have known such love that a pet can bring and give,I feel sorry for the ones that have never known the love of an animal.They are missing something ,You will get another one day.none will ever take the place of that one.but it will have its own place in your life,family and heart

So sorry to hear you lost your lil pardl CP. I know just how ya feel, I've been through it so many times in the past and know how painful it is. I always say never again, then you find that new lil friend that wins your heart and you will be hooked again. Again sorry for your loss and will say a prayer for you, family and Petey.
