The tuna looks good--even my wife finally got to where she would eat it seared like that. I really like raw fatty tuna the best (out of the tuna that is)

Man, that steak smothered, looks good.
That was at the Veranda in Starkville,MS. It's not a chinese joint but they do have a few dishes with an asian theme. We had lightly seared tuna for an appetizer, ceasar salads, wife had grilled salmon, and i had a smothered ribeye med. rare. All of the nicer resturants are stocking the new to us beers since the alcohol content law has changed, be careful if you try one of these. I am adventurous as anyone but i had ordered one last night and had to stop the waiter because i quickly realized it cost 14 BUCKS,for one stinking beer. That is just plain crazy, i got a sierra navada instead. I'm just glad i caught it before they opened the darn thing.
Yeah, I saw on the news Thursday night where most of those new beers were going to be really high. Think the one they showed was 16.00 a bottle. Don't know how they gonna sell much of that stuff once the new wears off:dono

that's what i told the waiter, i don't mind spending a little money ever now and then on a nice meal and i sho do like me some Makers Mark and Gentleman Jack, but 14.00 per beer is ludicrous.Quote:
