Someone's about to have a "crappie"-Day, congrads Andy, everything you need for the river, sweet deal, tight lines in the morning!!
-
I've never saw anything quite like it. Very nice.
-
Thanks everyone. Forgot to add that I picked her up from Bossman boats in New Smyrna Beach. Nice people, I took a test ride in the sales guys boat that he keeps @ the shop.

Congrats Andy! Nice rig fer sure.

I ran my boat for quite a while with tiller extension and cowboy bar and liked it a lot. But my motor does not have a kill lanyard and always pictured being thrown out and my wife or kids left without a driver headed out without control so I removed em. Sure was nice though. Still have em if I ever get a new motor or kill lanyard installed. I know fer sure yer gonna like it.

This boat will catch specks too........
First fish in the new boat

No big fish today but a few nice ones. Total was 9 and a super sized blue gill

Just added the finishing touch to the boat. All in all boat fishes well, just had a little trouble getting it back on the trailer. Don't power load much. Huntinslabs it does have a kill switch lanyard, love the grab bar they put in for me at no cost. I do need to get a tiller extenson before my next outing.

Really beautiful set up and Gheenoe's are the greatest with your type setup..........
Love mine..........not as pretty as your new one though.............
You are correct reference to loading them while sitting in boat - forget power loads,
get out pull on edge of trlr.........winch it from there.
Again, great set up...........
-
Super sweet 4 super skinny, as you already know that motor should really scoot!

Nice sled Andy! Freeride and myself use to own one and fished the heck outta the no motor zone.......them were some good times and big fish :)
-
be careful in that thing....looks just like the one that was flipped over in Monroe at last feb's slabfest........I had to haul two big ole boys out of the drink & help em get it back to the ramp......oh by the way......there is a few real nice rods & some tackle, a new battery, & other stuff at the bottom of the lake about half way between the bridge, & the opp!!!!!....You guys with the fancy sonars should be able to find it........Seriously, the boat looks great, just sit while the big motor is running.....That guy was standing & somehow lost it & they both went in fully dressed....the only thing keeping them up was a little cooler.......
-
Now thats scarey, always thought the Gheenoe's were extremely hard to tip over...........now i hear this.........! ! ! ! !
-
Still going to use the Starcraft to fish the lakes and when the weather is too rough for the Gheenoe.....
Don't need to go swimming in the middle of winter.
-
Use what the good Lord put between yer ears and all should be fine. People have a tendacy to push the limits of Gheenoes after reading some of the numbnuts posts on other forums. I have actualy seen posts where they were 30 miles offshore trolling Dolphin and Sailfish with them. Yea they made it back and posted pics of it and banged their chest and had a beer. But not the brightest thing to do in a Gheenoe. I am confident Andy will have no problems.
-
i still love my Gheenoe, use it exclusively on Lake Manatee and one other lake in
Polk county - both of which have helped me catch 2 lb plus fish....
-
The Gheenoe plant is only about a mile from my house,
any of ya'll need me to run over there for any reason, let me know,
I go by there all the time ...........
-
Didn't mean it to be a scary, or contrary in any way.......I thought they were nearly impossible to dump over too......But.....I guess if you stand up while under way, its possible!!!!!!.......I think the guys I fished out that day were in a 14' W/ a 25 Yamaha 4 stroke.....they were both big ole dudes, & they HAD.......a big load of gear......There life vest were in the livewell ....there is a lesson there too I guess.......anyhow.....be careful.....I never heard what actually happened to Nate last year, but I do know I don't want to here any more bad news like that ..... especially here!!!

+2
After that I try to honor him all the time by wearing mine, he taught us all a
very valuable lesson....
-
Nice rig I'm sure will give you lots of quality time on the water. Good fishing

No boat is complete without a CDC decal. Nice rig for sure.
