Not to bad but I like to trim the cut end of my kiptail after tying it in that way its not bushy looking up at the top around the chenille. Also you could wrap your chenille down further like the 3rd jig if you want to give it more body. I have seen people use a shorter body too so thats really up to you. But, I would just work on trimming up the extra material thats sticking out of the top of the 1st jig and after a while your technique will improve. I by no means am as good as the other guys on this board so hopefully they can see a few other things that could help you improve your jigs. Nice chickens tho!

Oh no I look for advice. I am trying to learn how to be as good as I can. I look forward to all the critique i can get. That is why I am tying both styles. Hair -kiptail and feathers like Skip likes to do. I think it is great fun almost as fun as trying them out.:biggrin KEEP IT COMING>
Be sure to clean the paint out of the eye.
I can tell ya right now....people will critique it ALOT more than the fish will. Those will catch fish just like they are.Thumbs Up
